2. Principle
We process personal data in accordance with the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and its ordinance. We collect only the data needed to operate this website and to answer enquiries.
3. Data we process
3.1 Server logs
When this website is accessed, the web server records technically necessary information:
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- name and URL of the file retrieved
- volume of data transferred and status code
- browser and operating system used
- referring page, where transmitted
The purpose is technical operation, infrastructure security and fault analysis, based on our overriding interest in running the site securely. Log data is deleted after 365 days and is not combined with other data sources.
3.2 Getting in touch
If you contact us by email, we process the information you send us in order to answer your enquiry. This website has no contact form, so no data is collected through the site itself.
We keep correspondence for as long as it is needed to deal with the matter. If a business relationship results, the statutory retention periods apply, in particular the ten-year period under Art. 958f of the Swiss Code of Obligations.
4. Cookies
This website sets no cookies and uses neither local storage nor comparable techniques for recognising visitors. Consent under Art. 45c lit. b of the Swiss Telecommunications Act (TCA) is therefore not required.
5. No analytics or tracking
We use no web analytics, neither Google Analytics nor comparable services, and embed no social media plugins, maps, videos or advertising networks. No profiling and no automated individual decision-making takes place.
6. Fonts and other resources
All fonts, images, stylesheets and scripts are delivered from our own server. Loading this website establishes no connection to third-party servers, in particular not to Google Fonts or any content delivery network. Your IP address is therefore not transmitted to any third party.
7. Disclosure to third parties
We do not pass personal data to third parties unless we are required to do so by law or by an authority, or it is necessary to enforce our rights. We do not sell data.
8. Data security
Transmission is encrypted via HTTPS. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss and misuse.
9. Your rights
Under Swiss data protection law you have, in particular, the following rights:
- access to the data processed about you (Art. 25 FADP)
- rectification of inaccurate data
- erasure or destruction of data
- objection to processing
- release or transfer of your data (Art. 28 FADP)
Please direct your request to the address in section 1. We may ask for proof of identity. Exercising these rights is generally free of charge.
